Scotiabank CONTACT NYCoffee Exhibit

For my entry in the 2019 Scotiabank CONTACT Festival, I wanted to deliver a photo series that would complement the location in which it would be exhibited—the local coffee shop. I kept this intent in mind while on an annual trip to New York City.

This exhibit shows how coffee permeates our lives: from sipping espresso while gazing at passersby, to students working on their laptops. From early morning coffee runs, to sharing a cup with friends.

The result is a series of familiar moments, repeated daily across all walks of life in coffee shops around the world.
